A July to remember in Florence

Like every summer, Florence gives its best and prepares to welcome tourists and citizens with a series of interesting events.

There are a lot of appointments not to miss during the month of July 2018.
Below a brief collection of what the city has to offer to those who want to immerse themselves in the beauty and fun of Florence.

Drink & Run – 3 Luglio

An evening dedicated to fun, fitness and wine. What could be better than this?
Enjoy a race in company through some of the most beautiful views of Florence.

The Italian Brass Week – From the 22nd to the 29th of July

This international festival will take place in some of the city’s most historical areas, such as the national museum Bargello, Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio.
Among the scheduled concerts for sure not to miss the one on the banks of the Arno river, on Saturday the 28th. A unique performance where you can enjoy the opera played by a brass ensemble on boats in a beautiful scenery.

”Apriti Cinema” – Cinema, every evening from the 25th of June to the 11th of August

One of the most anticipated events of the Florentine Summer! Will take place at the square of the Uffizi Gallery with quality films in original language and free admission (subject to availability). Complete calendar to be defined.

Also, the Uffizi Gallery itself is among the protagonists of the summer highlights with “Uffizi live” a series of live shows that will entertain the museum visitors every Tuesday from June to September, from 7 to 9 pm.

Music – The Musart Festival, from the 17th to the 28th of July

A festival that confirms itself as one of the Summer’s excellences in music. This spectacular setting will be located on Piazza SS Annunziata and will offer artists as Roberto Bolle, Francesco De Gregori and the Tuscan Orchestra. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
